Enabel the Belgian development agency has partnered with KAMOS Agro Fish Farm in Buikwe District to train youth and women from Busoga region of Uganda in cage fish farming, focusing on creating green, sustainable jobs. This initiative includes hands-on training for constructing, managing, and feeding fish in floating cages, aiming to empower local communities and promote economic growth through improved aquaculture techniques.
Key Aspects of the Partnership:
KAMOS is happy to be part of this cause of championing community development, employment, and sustainable fish farming practices for the local communities.
Mr. Kagimu Paul’s leadership focuses on transforming local livelihoods by promoting fish farming as a viable and profitable business for the community, despite the challenges of high-cost feeds faced by other farmers.
